'Say style, speak EIMI' – Wella's new range of EIMI styling products for men and women are now available from the salon.

The name comes from the Greek phrase 'egi eimi', which means 'I exist', representing the brand's focus on individuality and expressing who you are in your hairstyle.

Different groups of products focus on volume, smoothing, texture, shine and fixing. The range includes primers, volumising spray, dry shampoo, shine mist, texturising spray and moulding gum. Come into the salon to try them out.

In September 2014, 15 brave amateur dancers took to the stage at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre for a Strictly Come Dancing style dance spectacular in aid of the National Star College. The competitors included ski jumper Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards, TV doctor Dawn Harper and BBC Radio Gloucestershire presenter Claire Carter.

And Lawrance John played their part too. Salon founder Stuart's dance teacher got in touch to ask if the salon would be able to do the hair for the show's female contestants. So on the morning of the event the salon was taken over by dancers, and a team of four headed over to the theatre later that day to do any last-minute hair touch-ups.

The event was a great success, with Eddie and his partner Julie crowned the winners, and £47,000 raised for National Star to help transform the lives of people with disabilities.
